Second ChevronWP7 App To Bring Custom WP7 Accent Colors

The second homebrew application from team ChevronWP7 could bring custom color schemes (accents) to unlocked Windows Phone 7 devices after the first program allowed users to fit custom ringtones to their handsets.

Currently smartphones running Redmond’s newest mobile platform have the option of choosing between 10 accent device-wide colors (magenta, purple, teal, lime, brown, pink, orange, blue, red and green) but the team’s second effort could add even more options, as can be seen in the picture above. The downside is that only users of unlocked Windows Phone 7 devices will be able to apply, when ready, but the unlocker has been pulled as the team and Microsoft were discussing some level of support for homebrew apps. Chris Walsh of team ChevronWP7 tweeted that currently only HTC devices are supported but Justin Angel seems to be rocking a custom black accent on an LG Optimus 7.
