Back when the current crop of Windows Phone 7 devices were announced, we were all drooling over that HTC 7 Pro that was announced to be coming to Sprint in 2011. Arne Hess has recently tweeted a picture of the HTC 7 Pro in GSM form (as opposed to Sprint’s CDMA). This GSM version will likely be available on a variety of European 3G networks. The HTC 7 Pro looks like a great successor to the successful HTC Touch Pro 2 from 2009. That Touch Pro 2 keyboard was the best mobile device keyboard ever, and having that on Windows Phone 7 is sure to be pretty awesome. Now all of you international GSM folks out there can start wishing and hoping that this device will come to a carrier near you. Is this the Windows Phone you’ve been waiting for?
