nook for Android Update Arrives

nook for Android recently got the update that we told you was coming earlier. This update, we thought, was just going to fix a few bugs, and allow syncing across devices (such as the newly updated nook reader). What we got was quite a bit more than just that.

What comes in the nook for Android update?

– New grid-based, and lighter user experience

– In app book browsing, shopping

– Support for notes and highlights (which you can sync across devices)

– Two-page view option when in landscape orientation

– More color-schemes

– Search highlighted test in Dictionary, Google, or Wikipedia

– Bug fixes

All in all, Barnes and Noble took an already very good app and made it even better.
