Chrome to WP7 Pushes Links And Text to Windows Phone

You might remember Google’s Chrome to Phone which allowed you to send a web page, map, YouTube video, or highlighted phone number or text directly to your Android device and then the iPhone iteration of the application.

We now have a similar functionality on Windows Phone 7 with Chrome to WP7 which, on the same note, allows you to quickly send over links and selected text from Chrome browser to your Windows Phone 7. Items sent will appear on your device as a toast notification which, if tapped, will show you “a list of your most recent links and text are available, regardless of whether or not the push notification succeeded”. The application has been submitted to Marketplace for certification and if approved, the functionality will cover one more mobile platform. Would you find such a feature useful?
