We’ve kind of seen this coming in our November 21st Weekly iReview where we asked two questions, one related to iOS and the other one related to MobileMe as a solution to find your lost phone.

Apple has finally released its iOS 4.2 update worldwide for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 with features like AirPlay (for wirelessly streaming pictures, music and videos) and AirPrint (for wireless driverless printing) plus other numerous ones but the most anticipated bit is concerning the Find My iPhone application and service which is now free to use without a MobileMe subscription. It can be a life saver when it comes to finding your lost phone so if you want to update, just sync the device up with iTunes 10.1 and start the process.
