Another Web-based Windows Phone 7 Application Catalogue

In a somewhat similar way to Bing which is continuously indexing Windows Phone 7 applications and displaying them in the Visual Search view, FreewarePocketPC.net has a dedicated web-based section for Windows Phone 7 applications, catalogued and tagged.

After selecting a filter on the left, you are presented with the applications meeting your criteria and clicking any of the programs listed will take you to a dedicated page where you’ll find information related to developer, version number, summary, description as well as screenshots. The cool stuff starts when you click the Download button as you’re presented with three options: you can either use the QR code, scan and install that way; hit the Zune Download button and you will be redirected to the Zune Software (you got to have that installed on your computer); follow the instructions on finding the specific app on the Marketplace directly on your phone.
