So far we’ve unboxed the Samsung Transform and taken a look at its user interface in part one of our software overview. Well, now it’s time to hunker down and take a look at the hardware. The Transform’s form factor is a touchscreen Android device with a full QWERTY slide out keyboard. If you’re someone who prefers to use a physical keyboard, this device should be on your radar.

The Transform is equipped with a 3.5″ LCD display with a resolution of 320×480. Housed inside its frame is a 800Mhz processor, 256MB of RAM, and 512MB of ROM. These specs keep the Transform in the mid-range area of Android devices.

There are both a front-facing and a standard rear-facing camera. The main camera sports a MP sensor with LED flash. For connectivity options, the typical Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi B and G can be found.

Finally, in the last part of our video we compare the Transform to its big brother, the Epic 4G. Be sure to press play below to see how well it’s able to keep up!
