Android Angry Birds Update Brings Fixes and QVGA Support

For all the Angry Birds addicts out there, Rovio has just released an update for their most popular game for Android which hit version 1.4.2 and is now available from the Android Market and GetJar.

If your Android handset has a small QVGA screen, you will now be able to play the game as the new version brings support for small screen devices. The update also brings a new episode – The Big Setup – with 45 new stages and with that the level count on the Android version of the game is up to 195. Also included are a series of bug fixes especially with smartphones running Android 1.6 where users experienced white screen issues as well as white textures appearing on certain devices.
