G4’s Attack of the Show Likes the HTC Surround

G4’s Attack of the Show has taken a spin with the HTC Surround on AT&T and they seem very impressed. The as yet unreleased phone received a “4 Seals of Approval Out of 5” in their scoring scheme. The show’s reviewer, Chris Hardwick, says he probably would have given it a 5 out of 5 if there were more like 12,000 apps and the phone was $100 cheaper. That’s not really a whole lot to complain about seeing as Windows Phone 7 will launch with well over 1000 apps with plenty more in the works. It’s good to see Windows Phone 7 getting such a good review on such a tech-targeted and popular TV show.

Don’t forget to check out our review of the HTC Surround which will be available on AT&T for $199 come November 8.
