Angry Birds Full Launched For Symbian^3 Handsets
Uber-popular casual gaming title Angry Birds has been released for Symbian^3 devices — such as the four handsets unveiled at last month’s Nokia World (N8, E7, C7, C6-01) — just days after its monumental Android release, which saw over a million copies of the free, ad-supported version downloaded in the first day alone. Available through the Ovi Market, Angry Birds for Symbian reportedly contains the full 105 levels, and costs either $3 or 3 euros, depending on region.
For those unfamiliar with the game (and really, you should be ashamed of yourself if that’s the case), it involves slingshotting different varieties of birds at various wood-and-concrete structures, in an attempt to destroy the green pigs who dwell within. Each of the birds has a special ability, and because of the lifelike physics and multiple methods of clearing each level, this title offers a particularly high replay value.
