HTC HD7 Hands-On (Video)
While AT&T had some pretty good coverage for the three new Windows Phone 7s that will be available on their network in November, T-Mobile and HTC had a little something to show off at a room in The Standard down the road a few blocks. The HTC HD7 is very similar to the previous HD2 in many ways including screen size, shape, build quality, and specs. However, the HD7 will have an upgraded 5 megapixel CMOS sensor which we’ve found to be quite a bit better than the HD2’s camera. It’s also got 16Gb of built in storage, as well as stereo speakers and an interesting kickstand that props out from the rim around the camera and flash. Another difference is the capacitive buttons on the front. We really miss hardware buttons that you can feel with your fingers, but apparently smooth non-tactile buttons are all the rage these days.
