HTC 7 Mozart, 7 Trophy Headed to Europe, Australia
While most of today’s excitement surrounding HTC focused on the US-bound 7 Surround, HD7, and 7 Pro, Europe and Asia Pacific will get another pair of Windows Phone 7 handsets that we’ve seen quite a bit of: the HTC 7 Trophy and HTC 7 Mozart. The two models are very similar, both packing 1GHz Snapdragon processors and 576MB RAM / 512MB ROM, 8GB of internal storage, as well as 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 1300mAh battery, plus Bluetooth 2.1 — when is HTC going to follow Samsung’s lead and start releasing Bluetooth 3.0-compliant hardware?
Where the two devices differ most significantly – besides their ten gram weight differential — is screen size (3.8-inch on the Trophy versus 3.7-inch on the Mozart) and primary camera (eight-megapixel with Xenon flash on the Mozart, just five-megapixel with LED flash on the Trophy). Both models will be capable of 720p video capture.
According a list obtained by Engadget, the two handsets will initially be distributed internationally as follows:
7 Trophy: SFR (France) and Vodafone (Germany, Spain, UK, Australia)
7 Mozart: Orange (France, UK), Deutche Telekom AG (Germany), Telstra (Australia)
Exact pricing and release details are still unknown at this point.
