Time to add another device to the Droid franchise of Verizon Android phones. If you were a fan of the Motorola Q series of devices, you’ll undoubtedly be excited about the new Droid Pro, which has marries a full QWERTY keyboard with an HVGA touchscreen. Sure, the HVGA resolution is a bit on the low side, but with a size of 3.1″, the screen show have a pixel density great enough to produce clear text and graphics. Plus, how many other Android devices exist with this form factor?

In terms of specs, the Droid Pro is a world phone, meaning that it’s capable of CDMA on Verizon, plus GSM oversees. It’s rocking a 1GHz CPU with 4GB of memory (2GB internal and 2GB via an included microSD card), plus it’ll ship with Android 2.2. Not known is the amount of RAM, though we suspect that the actual figure will max out below 512MB, since that higher number is reserved for premium devices. Look for the Droid Pro in early November.

HTC…where is your answer to this?
