HP is Paying You to Take a Palm Pre or Pixi

Over at HP’s Wireless Central website, they’re giving away all Palm Pre and Pixi phones on AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint for free (with a new service plan)… AND they’re giving you $50 extra to spend on apps for the devices. As you know, HP recently aquired Palm since they weren’t doing so well. We’re not sure what this major sale means for the Palm Web OS devices. It could mean that there’s some new hardware coming soon, or it could mean that sales of the Web OS phones have just not been so good and they need to get some people to take them off the shelves.

Anyone interested in a free Palm Pre or Pixi? Head on over to HP’s Wireless Central website.

UPDATE: For those in Canada, on Bell you can get the Palm Pre for free, and they’ll discount $15 off of your data plan every month for 3 years even if you choose the cheapest $50/month plan. (via @AjaySavvy)
