Verizon Wireless had sent us an email informing us this afternoon that the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Motorola Droid X would start rolling out, and just on cue users are already finding the update hit their devices. The update should get pushed out over the air, but you can also manually check for the update as well. Detailed instructions on the update, which brings with it a more refined visual voicemail interface, improved WiFi mobile hotspot support, Google Voice Actions, Android 2.2, and Adobe Flash 10.1 Mobile support, can be found on Verizon’s website.
