We Now Have a Proper Mobile Site

We’ve been debating internally for a long time now whether we should have a mobile version of the site. On one hand, mobile browsers are plenty capable nowadays of handling full desktop sites, and many people prefer to see the web in its full glory. On the other hand, cellular data speeds are still limited, and the load times between a full desktop site and a “light” mobile version can be huge. So, today we are unveiling our mobile site. It’s super clean and light, and it automatically loads when you visit pocketnow.com from your mobile phone. If you prefer to see the desktop version of the site, there is a link on every page to force the desktop view to load. The behavior is still not perfect, but overall it works quite well in terms of the auto-detect. Drop us a comment and let us know if you have any feedback about our mobile site!
