Chinese manufacturer Huawei is looking to take Android mainstream, and for that part, it’s a commendable part as Huawei is targeting the current Android 2.2 Froyo release for its new IDEOS handset brand. The price will fit many budgets too, clocking in at 99 to 129 EUR, which is about US $150, and the IDEOS will be available in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America in an assortment of color. The device will have HSPA 3G support, along with WiFi n, hotspot functionality for tethering, voice dialing, Bluetooth, and GPS. The downside? Well, it will be limited by a QVGA screen resolution, something that we had hoped to bid farewell to from the old days of Windows Mobile past. Also on-board is a 3.2-megapixel camera.
