Here’s a look at the Bing Maps application on Windows Phone 7, shown on non-final WP7 hardware and software. Like other mapping applications, Bing maps on Windows Phone 7 lets you search for specific places, get directions, find your location, and even get reviews. One cool discovery is that you can actually pin a location to your Start screen, adding to the list of other pinnable items like apps, contacts, web pages, and other live tiles. Overall, the mapping interface is smooth and responsive and it helps you find your way quite capably.
