Sprint Epic 4G Unboxing (Video)

The Sprint Epic 4G is the newest Samsung Galaxy S smartphone (which of course means that it has a Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, solid battery life, plus some cool software) which does a few tricks that its other Galaxy S siblings cannot. First, it has 4G, making it the second 4G WiMax phone in America after the EVO 4G. Second, it has a five-row QWERTY slide out keyboard to help with text entry. The design is also quite different. It has rounded edges like the Vibrant, but oddly, it hides the Android buttons below the screen until they illuminate. While this makes for a super clean design, it may cause some confusion if you’re using the device and the buttons aren’t illuminated.

We’ve got lots more coming up on the Sprint Epic 4G!
