Samsung Promises US Galaxy S GPS Fix

Samsung has promised that a firmware update is forthcoming for the US versions of the Galaxy S to fix issues with inaccurate GPS locks. According to a tweet, the update is expected to come sometime next month in September, which will improve GPS accuracy on the Galaxy S series. So far, only the Vibrant and the Captivate variants on T-Mobile and AT&T have been released; Sprint is expected to release its model called the Epic 4G and Verizon Wireless is due to follow suit with the Fascinate soon.
