If new device releases interest you, the next few months ought to bring great joy to your life. After a video debut of the HTC Schubert, potentially HTC’s first Windows Phone 7 device, we get to see the HTC Desire HD/Ace on video. This device, meant to be the successor of the original Desire (as the new would have you think) has a 4.3″ WVGA display with the following specs:

– Android 2.2

– 1GHz CPU

– 720p video recording, 8MP stills

– 4GB onboard memory

– Flash 10.1

– Aluminum unibody

If these specs are accurate, this must not be HTC’s top of the line Android device (as the original Desire once was). We were hoping for a dual core CPU, a front-facing video camera, and perhaps a more interesting design. Given that everything about this device is so far a rumor, we’ll withold judgement until we hear the news from HTC.
