Possible Early Renderings of the HTC Huashan

We’re not quite sure what the HTC Huashan is going to be. It’s likely to be a Windows Phone 7 device, potentially acting as the successor to the HTC HD2. The device was first spotted on HTC China’s roadmap early this year, meaning that a launch on the Dopod network would be a good bet. An industrious user at XDA has found some mock up images from within the HTC Huashan ROM. What we have here might be outdated images of a device once intended to run Windows Mobile 6.5 because if you look closely, you’ll see a stylus silo (how dare they!), plus it has a microSD slot (WP7 devices won’t have external memory). Also a bit strange is that these images don’t show any sort of hardware buttons under the screen, which could just imply that device was never officially assigned an operating system, or that the buttons are capacitive. Nevertheless, these images may be a clue at what HTC will release as one of its first Windows Phone 7 devices.
