Blogging on the Go with WordPress for Android

Do you have a WordPress-powered blog? Do you have an Android-powered phone (1.5+)? Do you want to update your blog while on-to-go? If you answered yes to all of these questions, you should get the WordPress app for Android!

Okay, sorry about the “late-night infomercial”-style introduction, I just couldn’t help myself! (Just be glad I didn’t make a video for this article!)

If you didn’t already notice, I write a lot. I write for pocketnow covering Android topics. I write for my local political precinct covering what our elected officials are (or are not) doing. I write about web development. I even write about having chickens in my backyard! Each one of these websites is its own separate blog. Each one has it’s own comments that I need to moderate. Each one has statistics that I want to monitor. And each one needs to get updated with new information as often as possible.

WordPress is the CMS (content management system) that I use for all my personal blogs. (Yes, all seven of them!) With the WordPress app I can write new articles, upload photos, check statistics, and moderate comments — all from my Android-powered phone.

WordPress app for Android is available free in the Market.
