WSJ: Apple Probes Complaints About iOS 4 on iPhone 3G
It seems complaints of sluggishness on the iPhone 3G after upgrading to iOS 4 have gone far enough to get Apple to investigate. According to The Wall Street Journal, an Apple spokeswoman told their Digits blog that “Apple is aware of the reports and is looking into the matter.”
Sadly news lately have been flooded with “Antennagate”, so there’s been very little mention about this, but as we reported last month, it seems this update is worthless for the iPhone 3G. Aside from lots of complaints about this iOS 4 leaving the device sluggish and with terrible battery performance, the lack of key iOS 4 features like multi-tasking make everything pointless.
If you’re on the ship of users that chose to upgrade, remember there is still a sort of complicated way to downgrade to iOS 3.1.3 while Apple get’s things fixed. No dates have been made clear just yet, but here’s a thread for you to add your complaints. Let’s hope more pressure gets them to work faster.
