CoPilot Live for Android, Special Pricing Through August

We’ve written about CoPilot Live before (here and here), with rave reviews. I’m so impressed with this software that I’ve owned copies for my GPS-enabled laptop computer, Windows Mobile phones, and now my Android.

Unlike Waze or Google Maps Navigation, CoPilot Live doesn’t need a data connection to help you get from point A to point B, which can be an especially good thing if you plan on driving cross-country or to the sticks! (Trust me on that one!)

Through the end of August ALK (the folks who make CoPilot Live) have reduced its price in the Android Market. They’ve even got discounted pricing for our Windows Mobile, PC, and even iOS friends by using the coupon code SUMMER15 at checkout from their online store.

If you’ve considered giving CoPilot Live a try, the price hasn’t been better. Even if you’re a bit skeptical of forking out more than US$0.99 for an app (I paid over US$30 for the Android version when it first came out), you can always buy it and try it, and if you’re not happy, return it within 24 hours for a full refund through Google Checkout.

Keep in mind, although you can download the app via 3G, EDGE, or even GRPS, you’ll need a WiFi connection to download the maps — in otherwords, don’t try to download this doing 75MPH down the interstate! :)
