The Consumer Reports Verdict In Video, The iPhone 4 Has a Design Problem

You simply can’t beat Consumer Reports tests.. They go all the scientific way many of us can’t and smack down anybody with a true “wake up and fix it before it gets worse problem”… If not ask Toyota!

Here’s Consumer Reports video on the iPhone 4’s antenna tests. Everything nails stuff down to the fact that there now is scientific proof that there truly is an Antenna flaw strong enough to make most users get their calls dropped if the phone is held a certain way. Surely this is no surprise for many unhappy users, but it’s great to get a scientific demonstration of how stuff “doesn’t work as it should”. The Verdict.. “We can’t recommend the iPhone 4 until Apple fixes this design flaw”. They’re actually nice enough to recommend current users with the problem to the quite fashionable Duck Tape solution I know many will just drool for… Right! No thanks,.. I’m not a fan of the bumpers myself either..

Let’s just hope Apple is responsible enough to accept the issue and address it like Toyota did. I really didn’t like their letter mentioning calculation issues at all. What do numbers have to do with call quality??.. In the end, we all payed for a phone, not a manual on how to hold a phone the right way..
