Yahoo Apps Hit the Android Market

Does anyone else find it ironic that Yahoo! just released apps for Google’s Android?

Today Yahoo! released Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, and a Yahoo! Search widget.

Yahoo! Mail uses push notifications just like their Gmail counterpart, and features rich text formatting, photo uploads, and more.

Yahoo! Messenger brings instant messaging with Yahoo! contacts to your Android and lets you message your friends, update your status, send photos, and more!

Yahoo! also improved the mobile versions of its mail and news websites utilizing HTML 5.

These apps are available for free in the Android Market and can be downloaded by scanning the barcodes below.
