BGR was at the Windows Phone 7 Preview Event Too

Boy Genius Report has posted their write-up of their experience with the Windows Phone 7 demo that was shown off at the Microsoft Preview Event last week and they sounded pretty impressed with the operating system’s smooth speed, even on an underpowered 666Mhz processor (which will never see public release.) Andrew Munchbach noticed a few shortcomings too however. He was unable to see any type of unified inbox for reading all messages in one big pile. Each email account is separated. It’s also disapointing to hear that there is no server-side search interface for emails; a feature that first appeared in Windows Mobile. Are those shortcomings dealbreakers for you?

You can check out our coverage of that event here as well.
