Video: Windows Live Gobbles Up Facebook and MySpace

You may have heard that Windows Live Hotmail Wave 4 has started to become available to its users, but you probably haven’t heard about the new Windows Live Home features. Home.Live.com both on the desktop and mobile device are now able to aggregate your social network feeds from both Facebook and MySpace. Previously, it would only show updates from Windows Live users who you were friends with and who chose to share their Facebook/MySpace updates via Windows Live. Now it takes over completely. I just have to add my Facebook account to my Windows Live account and all of my Facebook friends now show up with their updates, and I can even add comments without having to access Facebook at all.

You can pretty easily imagine the potential for this kind of integration on other platforms like Windows Phone 7 and Xbox 360. Since all of my social networking sites can be integrated with Windows Live, now I only need one Windows Live log-in in order to access, manage, and interact with all of those networks.
