My MediaCenter Remote in the Works for Windows Phone 7

Often people wonder how cool it would be to use a smartphone as a TV remote control. While phones with that type of consumer infrared hardware haven’t been available for over 7 years, you can also get some cool capabilities if you’re running Windows Media Center. Here’s some software currently in development for Windows Phone 7 that will let you control your Media Center interface from your phone.



If you’re looking for similar functionality on Windows Mobile Classic, try the Windows Media Center Sideshow Gadget or Rudeo Remote.
