Video: Skyfire Alpha on Android

In this video, we test Skyfire Alpha against Opera Mini 5 Beta and the Android Browser to determine which is fastest. We’re no stranger to Skyfire…we’re tested the browser repeadtedly in Windows Mobile and have determined it to be the fastest browser that you can run on that platform. In Android, it is sometimes the fastest, but not all of the time (but hey, it’s still in alpha!). We were impressed by the performance of the browser in this early version. Currently, you can’t get Skyfire in the Android Market, and the download link we found at XDA was taken down as per the request of Skyfire. We’re still waiting to hear back from them with an indication of when the alpha or beta will be ready for the public.

Video removed at the request of Skyfire.
