HTC HD2 Sold Out for Third Time From T-Mobile
Despite a late launch in the United States, the HTC HD2 has been a popular device for carrier T-Mobile. The device is once again sold out–for the third time since launch–though there may still be some limited inventory at local retail stores. The HTC HD2’s popularity shows that Windows Mobile, when executed correctly, can still be popular with mainstream audiences outside of niche users and corporate users who rely on Microsoft’s ecosystem.
The device features a fast Snapdragon processor, a capacious 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display–a first for Windows Mobile, and in-built software and services that make it compelling to consumers. The device also ships with HTC Sense.
