Video: Get SlideIT and Type Faster

We’ve posted about the Sliding Input called Swype, which was taken from the Verizon Omnia II and which Brandon demonstrated in a video (second video at the bottom) mentioning that Swype could become his everyday’s way of writing text on his device.

Today I’m going to show you SlideIT, another Sliding Input which features prediction, Graffiti (the ability to recognize numbers and special characters you draw pretty much like Handwriting on Windows Mobile 6.1 and previous version days) and what’s most important to me, multilanguage, since English is my third language (currently 21 language packs are available for SlideIT). Another great feature I like is that you can disable sliding and switch to classic ABC mode where SlideIT behaves just like your ordinary Full Keyboard, only SlideIT has Copy and Paste functions which you can access from the options by tapping on the 12@ key.

You can download a Free Demo of SlideIT for Windows Mobile as well as for Android if that’s your Operating System but you might as well buy the full version (which allows full functionality like saving your dictionary) which now has a great price of $7.99 instead of $14.99. Language packs are free and you install them as normal CABs, only you need to activate the second language from the SlideIT options, where you can choose your Primary and Secondary language.
