Talk Back & Poll: Will You Migrate to Windows Phone 7 Series?
While many of pocketnow.com‘s audience members are power-users who demand certain power-user features from Microsoft, it seems that Windows Phone 7 Series–for better or worse–made some compromises and trade-offs to target a broader consumer audiences, eschewing features such as copy & paste, user-replaceable memory, user file management scheme, and will feature Marketplace as the only source for apps for consumer-based features such as the “lack for the need of” a task manager, better UI, tighter hardware and software control, and a controlled, stable environment that resembles the iPhone. We want to know, dear audience, if Microsoft’s decision to forego power features and/or its decision to create a new user experience will impact your decision to stay with the platform. What will your next mobile operating system be? Vote and let us know in the comments!
Also of note, in our previous poll, we had just shy of 50 comments and an overwhelming 70% of power users wanting the power-user features of Windows Mobile back.
