Nokia 5230 Nuron Coming to T-Mobile USA
It looks like Nokia is making a push with Symbian in the US, a geographic territory that’s been a hurdle for the OS and smartphone maker, with the Nokia 5230 Nuron on T-Mobile USA’s AWS 3G network. The Nuron will be powered by Symbian S60 5th Edition and will feature a 3.2-inch, 640 x 360 touchscreen display. It’s very similar to the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic phone.
Though a launch date and pricing has not been announced by either parties, rumors have it that the Nuron will be coming to T-Mobile on March 17th for $70 with a two-year contract or $180 for commitmentphobes. With GPS and free turn-by-turn navigation from the Ovi Map software and maps, the handset’s pricing looks really attractive, though it won’t be upgradeable to the latest Symbian^3.
