The Android-Based HD2: HTC Supersonic

You knew this was coming. A leaked rendering today from AndroidPhones shows a device that is supposedly the HTC Supersonic, a Android-based WiMax-enabled device that will run on the Sprint network. It’s also rumored to have a 4.3″ screen plus a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. If these specs sound familiar, they’re straight from the HD2. Additionally, if you look at the devices side by side (pictures above with the Supersonic on right), they look almost identical. The only difference is the red accenting up at the speaker grill, plus the hardware buttons along the bottom. Many have been calling for a true Android version of the HD2, and the Supersonic may just be that.
