Google Nexus One Unboxing

Here it is: our unboxing of the Google Nexus One, made by HTC. As you can see from the video, the unboxing experience is very similar to that of the HTC HD2. No surprise accessories are included except for a nice case with the Android logo. Beyond that, the device comes with a 4GB class 2 microSD card, plus headphones, a wall charger, and sync cable.

First impressions of the device: it feels VERY thin and light…much lighter than the iPhone. In the pocket, it feels weightless, and in-hand, it feels secure thanks to a rubbery coating on the back.

After spending some time with the device, I’m enjoying the high contrast of the high-res display. With a 1GHz Snapdragon, the device is fast, but it doesn’t feel as fast as the HTC HD2, which has the same processor. There are a lot of new goodies in Android 2.1 that we’ll go over in future videos.
