The Windows Mobile Tablet: C-motech Mangrove

If you’re aching for a mobile internet device that’s in the form of a tablet and is lightweight, perhaps you should look no further than Windows Mobile to power said device. It looks like C-motech did in their 7-inch Mangrove tablet, a device that boasts Windows Mobile 6.5, an OS that’s been re-designed for touch and finger-friendliness.

The device may not show up on US shores, but it sure looks hot. With Windows Mobile’s support for resistive screens, this can be a lightweiht note-taking companion that’s less expensive than a full-blown Windows Tablet PC.

The device is expected to run on a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, with USB ports–that’s right you get USB hosting on two ports–headphone jack, your requisite WiFi, microSD card, and 3G or WiMax options for wireless. This may be the couch-surfer’s dream device for internet browsing at home.
