HTC Hero Browser Wars

In this video we take a look at the web browsing experience of the HTC Hero and compare it to that of Windows Mobile and the iPhone.

The browser on the Hero is quite good. It makes good use of the entire screen by hiding all buttons and menu options, but that may also annoy some people as it requires a press of a hardware key to bring up any options. In terms of rendering fidelity and speed, the browser of the Hero ranks below the iPhone but above Opera Mobile 9.5 on the Omnia II.
