Melinda Gates, wife of Bill Gates, said in a Vogue interview that her kids are not allowed to have an iPod or iPhone in their house. The interview, which has been summarized at Gizmodo, has Mrs. Gates saying: “There are very few things that are on the banned list in our household. But iPods and iPhones are two things we don’t get for our kids.”

Mrs. Gates also states in the interview that she is often tempted by the iPhone when she sees friends using one. I wonder what she thinks of the new Diamond2 running Windows Mobile 6.5.
