T-Mobile Android G1 Hardware Tour

Here’s our hardware tour of the T-Mobile G1. I really like the trackball. It seems more accurate than the Blackberries and is very similar to the HTC Artemis’ trackball. Unfortunately the buttons on the front are very flat and difficult to feel for. There’s not much differentiation. Also, the keyboard buttons are difficult to feel for as well.

In our size comparisons, the G1 is quite large, however it does have a large screen, which some may prefer. In terms of feel, there is definitely some plastic creaking, so it will not give you the impression of a high-end device.
