Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 in the House: Unboxing Video

We’ve all known about the Xperia X1 for a very long time – we’ve seen Sony Ericsson’s marketing for it, we’ve seen many pre-production reviews, and we’re pretty well informed about the panel-based interface, a first for Windows Mobile.

The unboxing experience for the Xperia X1 was top notch – the device was covered by flaps that said “Xperia” – and beneath it rest the device surrounded in foam. Nice.

First impressions? First, the device automatically configured itself to AT&T after I popped in my SIM card. Second, performance seems ridiculous with almost instant screen rotation and high responsiveness going from program to program. Third, the screen sensitivity is quite high, which is good.

To be honest, I’ve never been this excited by a Windows Mobile device before, and it’s only been a few minutes. Much more on the Xperia X1 coming up soon =D!
