Motorola Q11 Will Be A Budget Device
The new Moto Q11, which takes many design cues from the well-received Q9h, has been officially announced by Motorola, and will be a budget device. Why do I say budget? Well, it’s lacking 3G (though does WiFi), plus it cuts corners by including just 64MB of RAM (the Q9h has 96MB of RAM), and finally, the marketing copy from the Motorola press release states that the Q11 will be offered “at an affordable price.” That said, the Q11 is likely to be sold as an unlocked phone, and will be shipping in December. The Q11 is listed to be coming with that new version of Pocket Internet Explorer based on desktop IE6 that we’ve seen pop up here and there. Interesting.
I’d like to see Motorola use the fantastic Q9h/Q11 keyboard on a different WinMo device, like one with a touchscreen. We’d dig that.
