HTC Touch Diamond, Pro Has Multi-Touch Buttons

While HTC’s Touch Pro and Touch Diamond do not have multi-touch out of the box, wmpoweruser.com is reporting that the latest devices from the firm are in fact multi-touch ready. An application, Nav Debug Tool by HTC shows a capacitive touch navigation wheel and screen that can track two independent finger movements. This is good news as perhaps a future firmware will be able to support and exploit this future and it could mean that the device is Windows Mobile 7 ready. In the interim, hopefully HTC will enable the feature or release the API so developers can enable multi-touch in their applications, like Opera Mobile for web browsing.
