BlackJack with Touchscreen Coming to US
As all wireless devices for sale in the United States has to pass through the FCC for regulatory approval, FCC documents provide some insight into forthcoming devices. One such device is the Samsung i788. the::unwired is speculating that the i788 is a variant of the Europe-only Samsung i780, a Windows Mobile Professional phone that looks like a BlackJack II, but has a touchscreen.
Usually, Samsung phones on the AT&T network has a number scheme that ends with a 7. The i788 ends with an 8 so it will interesting if this model makes it over to AT&T. T-Mobile is the other national GSM carrier in the US and is in the process of deploying its 3G networks as well.
