HTC TyTN II Available For Preorder, How it Compares to Predecessor

If you haven’t heard, the HTC TyTN II (or Kaiser as it was once known) is now available for pre order for about $800 at MobilePlanet.

As the name implies, the TyTN II is meant to be the successor to the original TyTN (aka Hermes). How do the two devices compare? Below is a size comparison from SizeEasy (showing the TyTN II in yellow).

The TyTN II is thinner than the TyTN, and the same size in all other dimensions. In terms of specifications, the TyTN II has a slightly faster processor, double the RAM and ROM, a higher resolution camera, HSUPDA, and the addition of GPS and a tilting screen. For a detailed comparison chart, head on over to PDAdb.net.

Correction: The TyTN II is actually shown in yellow below. Yes, it’s thinner than the TyTN.
