SpinVox Five Week Update

About five weeks ago, I made a posted entitled, “The Closet You Can Get to Visual Voicemail“, that talked about a new service called SpinVox, which converts your mobile phone voicemail to text and emails or text messages the results to you.

Five weeks later, I’m very pleased with SpinVox. Not having to listen to a four minute message and wait for the important details, which often comes towards the end, is a huge time saver.

The conversion rate from the speech to text is VERY high – I think I estimated it to be about 80% accurate in the last post, and I’ll stick to that. It’s probably even higher. Names sometimes don’t come out properly, but you can always call your SpinVox voice mailbox and listen to the message.

Best of all, it’s free indefinitely for US users – it costs a bit for those that live in the UK. Click here for more info.
